We started with just an idea of free mental health football sessions, and within three years we now have a Men's football team, self-defence classes for women and young girls, both an online and in person safe space forum for men and women, a community foodbank, a women and girls mental health football team, a saving souls youth team, after school club, A support group for parents and carers who support children with SEN and  free back to school all with the intention of people to come together and connect as we break down the barriers of food poverty and share their experiences of tackling mental health

At Saving Souls, we take a holistic and collaborative approach to mental health. Through sports, 1:1 and group mentoring, Community and corporate workshops, School academy staff and pupil training and family fundraisers, and a local foodbank we have had the privilege of impacting and engaging with over 3000 people receiving positive testimonials and feedback.

2022 was a great year for us as we received three awards. We were voted grassroots project of the year in association with the FA & McDonalds, We received an award for our commitment to community and grassroots from the official footie blacklist awards in association with the premier league and our mental health team won the south London grassroots mental health football league and cup double and most recently 2025 we were G15 community awards Winners for our half term back to school cuts initiative.
