Saving souls partner with Lewisham homes and Streetgames

Saving Souls Hub, in partnership with Lewisham Homes and StreetGames, will be delivering a free twelve month youth sports programme from the Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at Crossfield Estate (next to Farrer House) later in the year, aimed at 11-15 year olds.

Saving Souls Hub (SSH) are currently planning on providing a free programme of football, basketball, fitness and self-defence sessions. However, they want to speak to local young people to find out what they think should be provided and how it should be done. They want to help build community cohesion and use sport to support young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

On Friday 15 September between 4pm and 5.30pm, SSH will be running a free taster session at the Crossfield Estate MUGA. There will be an opportunity to play football and basketball, learn about the programme and speak to SSH staff about what should be included as part of it. They will listen to what you have to say and consider your views when planning the programme they will deliver.

If you’re aged 11-15 and live nearby, please come along and help shape this free youth sports programme. Anyone aged 11-15 is welcome to attend, as well as any parents or carers who wish to find out more about the programme.
