They entered the SLGFL for the first time, By the end of the season Saving Souls managed to go unbeaten and win the league ten points clear with a healthy goal difference.
They then had the opportunity to collect our trophy and medals but also take part in a tournament, to see whether they can do the double and with a hard fought victory over the last seasons double winners, status, They managed to win the tournament, creating history for saving souls fc.
This was a massive achievement for them not for the winning but the spirit of brotherhood that has been created within this team with some people only meeting each other over this last year. To create a memory so special so quickly is a massive achievement and accomplishment
